performative exhibition, private flat in Budapest, 2023
On March 13th, 1998, M.P. departed from his Budapest residence to an unknown destination.
Twenty-five years later, I embarked on a research to reconstruct the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of my father, M.P. Based on the heritage, the absence of facts led to further investigation.
SORRY M.P. is the processing of a personal legacy, in which I examined the circumstances of my father’s disappearance 25 years ago through a performative exhibition. SORRY M.P. is an exhibition that conclude a research process, which I organized in my living room, creating a semi-public space. The room served both as the location for the work that uncovered the events of 1998 and as an intimate space where I investigated the case.
